About the event

TAKE ACTION ON HOUSING AND HOMELESSNESS!

Join us for an engaging and informative event focused on tackling the pressing issues of housing and homelessness in our community.

This is an opportunity for individuals, families, and community groups to come together and explore the intricate system of housing, understand the challenges and discover actionable steps we can all take to make a difference.

At this event, you will have the chance to hear from experts in the field, including social workers, housing advocates, and individuals with lived experiences. They will share valuable insights into the current state of housing in our area, the barriers that prevent people from securing stable homes, and the various initiatives that are currently in place to combat homelessness. You will also learn about the policies that affect housing accessibility and how you can advocate for change at the local level.

In addition to informative talks, we will provide interactive workshops where participants can brainstorm and develop concrete action plans to address housing issues in our community. Whether you are a concerned citizen, a student, or a local leader, your voice and ideas are essential in shaping the future of housing solutions.

This event aims to empower attendees to take meaningful action, whether through volunteering, advocacy, or supporting local organisations that work tirelessly to provide housing assistance.

Mark your calendars for 31st May 2025, from 11 AM to 2 PM. We invite you to come and be part of this important conversation and movement.

Together, we can create a more inclusive and supportive community for everyone.

As part of our commitment to making this event accessible to all, we are pleased to offer FREE ENTRY. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in discussions that affect their lives and communities.

We also welcome families, and children aged 6 and older are encouraged to join us for a special area designed just for them to hang out and engage in fun activities in our Lego room. They can build their own house! Ha!

To ensure that everyone stays energized and engaged, a light lunch will be provided for all attendees. Join us for a meal as we share ideas and foster connections that could lead to positive changes in our community.

Don’t miss this opportunity to be part of the solution. Together, we can take significant steps toward addressing housing and homelessness in our area. We look forward to seeing you there!
